Information is Knowledge. Knowledge is Power and Ignorance is Lack of Knowledge.

Many people don’t know much about development matters and issues both at local and international level. They also seem to feel uninterested in such matters thinking it is none of their business. They don’t know much about themselves and the vast resources embedded in their minds and its potency to meet not only their personal needs but also the developmental needs of their immediate society.

Many are ignorant of the existing connection between development agenda and their day to day activities not knowing the significant role development policies play on their lives. This has affected our society in several negative ways and people fail to understand that we all play a part to achieve a better world.

So how do we tackle this problem?

We believe the solution to the Developmental issues and challenges begins with making everyone aware about it, making information easily accessible to everyone and being very deliberate about it. In this age, the social media is the most powerful and effective means of communication all over the world and we believe it can be leveraged on.

The creation of a platform for people to be deliberately fed with pieces of information regarding developmental issues and their role in it, seeing the participation of other people around the world (great and small) and the progress made; will cause a great movement in the World. This we believe, is the great solution.

It will spark up Light in people’s minds, help them think and find their place in World Development.
